September 11 Remembrance Ceremony – Never Forget
The City of Barnwell invites the community to join us for a September 11 Ceremony of Honor and Remembrance as we remember the victims, first responders, and heroes of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
The ceremony will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. on the Circle in Barnwell.
Community members are encouraged to attend as we come together to reflect, remember those whose lives were lost, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the many heroes who responded that day.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Parking on the Circle will be limited; additional parking will be available at the Barnwell County Library, POTL, City Parking Lot, along Main Street and Wall Street, and other nearby areas.
Please note: In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be canceled.
