  Certified Police Officer Wanted

The City of Barnwell Police Department is currently accepting applications from South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy certified individuals for the position of Police Officer. Minimum Qualifications are as follows.

• Be at least 21 years old
• Possess a South Carolina driver’s license with a good driving history
• Pass a thorough Background Investigation and pre-employment drug screen
• Pass a physical examination
• Have at least a High School Diploma or its equivalent. (College Preferred)
• Must have successfully completed the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy
