The City of Barnwell currently has purchased the old First Citizens Building on the Barnwell circle for its new City Hall. This 100 plus year old Historic building will be renovated with the help of Virgo-Gambill Architects. Work is expected to begin in June of 2008 and be complete by March of 2009.
The Building will be able to house all of the City's Administrative Staff, Recreation, and Tourism and Community Development. The building will be user friendly allowing for customer parking in the rear and provide a drive through window for expedited bill paying.
